Around here, we are lucky to have so many incredible individuals, small business owners, volunteers, teachers, kids, and neighbors who go above and beyond to make our area such a wonderful place to live and raise a family.
That’s why I'm launching the Locals We Love program!
Locals We Love is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the amazing people making a difference right in our coal region neighborhoods. From the local business owner who always greets you with a smile, to the volunteer quietly working behind the scenes, to the neighbor who goes out of their way to lift others up - I want to celebrate them all!
How It Works & How You Can Get Involved
This feature is all about our community, which means I want to hear from you!
Do you know someone who lives or works in the area that deserves a nod of appreciation? A teacher, a local artisan, a tireless volunteer, a determined student, or a friend who always gives back? I want to share some love and recognition!
Here's how you can get involved:
Nominate a Local: Fill out the nomination form to let me know who you think I should feature next and why they make our community special. If your nomination is chosen, I'll be in touch!
Spread the Love: You'll see these special locals featured in the Newsletter on Thursdays and on Facebook the next day. I'd love to see everyone show some support and spread the positivity with kind comments, shared encouragement, and letting friends and family know about the program.
